Two undercover police officers stopped into a Dunn Brothers in Uptown and asked the woman behind the counter, Hey, what’s upstairs?
“Apartments, an IT business and a brothel,” the barista said, according to a search warrant filed in Hennepin County District Court.
The officers identified themselves. The woman told police that “strange” men arrived and left throughout the day, according to the warrant, filed on May 6.
Following up on complaints from neighbors and the owner of the building, located at Hennepin Avenue and W. 34th St., officers set up a sting. An undercover officer posing as a customer visited the Diamond Therapeutic Massage parlor on April 8 and 15.
