At 2:30 a.m. Thursday, officers in Minneapolis were called about a shooting that killed one woman and critically injured another.
Friday morning, the Hennepin County Medical Center said they had upgraded the critically injured woman to serious condition Thursday. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner identified the woman who was shot dead as 28-year-old Amy Terborg, of Eagan.
Forty minutes after that first report early Thursday morning, a man was shot and killed in Brooklyn Park.
Around 7:15 a.m., officers in Minneapolis chased a man suspected in both deaths. He committed suicide while talking to police on his cell phone.
Sources identified that man as 40-year-old Trace Maxwell, who also goes by the name Trace Henry.
Maxwell’s criminal history reveals an assault, a DWI, and other traffic violations. Sources said he also ran an escort service and worked at a tattoo shop in Minneapolis.
